• improving the quality of research and calibration performed by organizations,
• improving the competences of laboratories by organizing proficiency testing programs,
• improving the competences of the organization’s staff through certification,
• improving the competences of the organization through certification,
• increasing the ability of staff to obtain jobs that match their competences,
• increasing the organization’s ability to recruit personnel with competencies that are adequate to the needs,
• supporting niche areas of the economy, startups and microenterprises,
• supporting state and local government administration, the army, the police and other uniformed services.
